This past weekend, I had the pleasure to take part, along with six other bloggers, in a super-fun look book shoot for the Vintage jewelry brand, Sweet & Spark. Jillian, the mastermind behind the brand, is about the sweetest thing ever. I met her back in September when I was in NYC, and was able to reconnect with her now that she has moved to the city! Her jewelry line is all about vintage jewels, which I absolutely love. Whether it be over-sized earrings, a statement-making necklace, or a fun tassel bracelet - this girl has it! You may recall this post, where I am wearing one of Jillian's incredible vintage finds. You can check out more of her fab pieces, here.
I can't wait to see & share with you the look book, but until then here are some behind-the-scenes photos from our day (taken from my iPhone and some stylish gal's cameras!)
For the shoot, we were asked to bring our own outfits to style with Sweet & Spark pieces. I modeled the Black & White collection.
Highlight of the day was receiving this fun mani from the talented P&K gals!
Did my own hair for the shoot, but was blessed enough to get my makeup done by the talented (and incredibly sweet) Jonathan Reisfeld. If only I could take him with me everywhere!
Shown above is one of the looks I styled for the shoot.
Kate from the Fancy Pants Report was sweet enough to capture this moment of me shooting with the incredibly talented (and kind-hearted) Ashley Batz.
Another look that I styled for our black and white themed shoot.
Used my dainty Maya Brenner 'L' necklace as a layering piece for many of my looks.
Wore lots of black, white, and gold! Added a touch of girliness with my pink mani. (big thanks to Natalie for capturing this photo!)
These large tassel balloons may have been my favorite part of the day. So badly wanted to take them home with me and throw a spontaneous Oscars party!
One of our final shots of the day - with Natalie from Like Fresh Laundry, Jillian, Natalie from Natalie-Dressed, Kate from The Fancy Pants Report, Erin from Apartment 34, and Nichole from Vanilla Extract (missing Victoria from Vmac + Cheese who shot with us earlier in the day!) (photo credit to Nichole's boyfriend!)
This was seriously such a fun day. I only wish shoots like these could happen every weekend!
A huge thanks to Jillian for making this day so awesome!
