Finding the Right Pair of Glasses with Warby Parker

If you are currently on the hunt for a new pair of eyeglasses or even sunglasses, Warby Parker is a great place to start. With prices at $95 per frame for both eyeglasses and sunglasses, you can't help but purchase a pair or two! Warby Parker makes it incredibly easy to find the right frames with their home try-on program. You can choose five of your favorites from their site and they will ship them to you free of cost! When buying glasses or sunglasses online it's difficult to know whether they are going to look good on your shape of face, so being able to try them on before purchase is such a relief!

I'm a contact lens wearer and currently have only one pair of eyeglasses (that I got at Costco, shhh!) I love being able to just throw on a pair of glasses and have them act as their own accessory to my outfit. When it comes to frames, I typically gravitate towards over-sized frames, in either tortoise or black. As you can see, that's almost all I picked!

Here are the five frames I chose!

Really loving the Marshall. Thinner frame than I normally wear, but I'm loving the shape on them.

The Thompson is not a shape I would normally gravitate towards, but I actually like them. They make me look studious. ;)

The Miles are definitely too small for my face. Pass!

Yet another tortoise pair! But the Preston has a wider frame than the Marshall, which I like.

This Ainsworth pair is very similar to the previous, but has a lighter tortoise print.

Would love to know which pair (or pairs) are your favorite?
I'm leaning towards #1 and #5! Love me some tortoise if you can't tell! ;)

  2. While I love all the Warby Parker styles, and their concept, I've been really disappointed in the quality of frames & lenses. They're heavy, and the lenses mark up very easily and I find I'm always having to clean them (I'm not a messy wearer!). They've been relegated to at-home wearing for me.

  3. I just received my home try on for their sunnies, so many choices!
But I totally agree no.1 and no.5 are my favorites on you!

  4. What a great idea! I knew about Warby Parker but didn't know they'd send you 5 to try before you buy! Excellent. I am loving #1 and #4 on you. ~ ashleigh

  5. I'd say either the Preston or the Ainsworth.I like the Marshall too, but I can't tell because of the angle I absolutely love their glasses. They do get dirty easily, but the price is unbeatable. You can get so many pairs for the price of one pair at the eye doctor.

I used to be a contact wearer, but since get my Warby Parkers, I never want to put them in!

  32. I often have the lenses on my frames updated to go with my newest prescription. Just changing the lenses isn’t all that expensive. It’s funny because I really don’t think

that much about comfort with my frames. It’s never occurred to me but of course it’s important. Glad you liked the post!
