I don't know about you, but I kinda have an extreme obsession with bags. Next to shoes, jackets, and makeup, bags are one of my favorite accessories to purchase. And now that 2013 is upon us, what better way to welcome in the new year than with a new bag? 

Now that designer handbag collections are being debuted, it's the ideal time to start hunting for the perfect bag - whether you're looking for some added pop of color, a neutral backdrop to an everyday ensemble, or perhaps some unexpected arm candy. When looking for a handbag, I personally tend to always stay focused in on neutrals - blacks, whites, grays, tans, and creams. These are the type of bags I will spend my money on because I know that it will stay with me for years to come. But I am thinking it is time to add at least one colorful bag into my collection. And these four above are among my favorites. And for all the times you want to stay relatively neutral but still show your fun side, opt for a metallic, python, or printed bag to add some cool factor to any outfit. I will gladly take that Michael Kors Metallic Tote!
