It's a Miracle

I had a different post planned for today, but I found this one to be of more importance. Monday night, Ashley (my best friend/ex-co blogger/the "A" in "L.A." in the bay), got into a horrible accident, and flipped her car 5 times on the freeway. And all she walked away with was a concussion. If this isn't a miracle, I don't know what is. I have been pretty distraught ever since it happened, because when I got that phone call, I could have been told my best friend was dead. I can't believe what an utter miracle this is, and by God's grace, my friend is alive. This has stirred up so much emotion in me, as you can imagine, and I am determined to always remember the life lessons that this event taught me.
Life is short. Every moment is precious. Be thankful for today, for tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
But most of all, LOVE those around you, every second of every day. Forget the futile arguments, forget what they may have or have not done to you in the past, they are there with you in the present for a reason.
Tell those around you how much you love them, how much you care about them, and are thankful for them. Because tomorrow, could be one day too late.

I love you Ash more than you know!

  23. Ashley sure had some special angels watching over her. I feel like this always, that wishing that people would stop hurting each other and just accept people for the way they are. You are only in this world for a very short time to make your journey. I am so happy for Ashley please give her my love.
